Full publishing

Catalogue entries are placeholders pending confirmation of the studio’s published slate. Key art is generated vector artwork, not gameplay footage.

Working days to a pitch answer

Every submission receives a written yes, no, or specific follow-up. No silent rejections.

Every figure above is checkable: the registration details in the Danish CVR register, the VAT number in EU VIES. We publish no unit-sales, wishlist or revenue claims we cannot evidence.

What a publishing partner does

Four services, each with a written scope

Studios rarely need all of it. Take the whole publishing agreement, or contract a single service and keep the rest in-house — both are normal here.

Global Game Distribution

PC, console and mobile storefronts

We take a finished build to market across PC, console and mobile storefronts — store pages, builds, age ratings, regional pricing and release logistics handled by us under a written publishing or distribution agreement.

  • Storefront setup and store-page copy for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io)
  • Console submission preparation for the platform holders you are approved for
  • Mobile release management for the App Store and Google Play
What is included

Studio Funding & Co-Production

Milestone-financed development

Development financing from our own capital, paid against agreed milestones, recouped from the title’s revenue. A publishing agreement — not a loan, not an investment product, and never a public offering.

  • Development grants and milestone financing for titles we agree to publish
  • Co-production on projects where we take part of the production work as well as the cost
  • Vertical-slice and prototype funding for teams that are not yet production-ready
What is included

Marketing, PR & Community

Campaign execution from announce to launch

Announce, beat plan, press and creator outreach, storefront festivals, paid campaigns and day-to-day community management — run by us, reported with the platform numbers attached.

  • Positioning, announcement plan and a dated beat calendar through launch
  • Trailer and capsule-art direction, and key-art production with our partners
  • Press and content-creator outreach, review-key distribution and embargo handling
What is included

QA, Localization & Console Porting

Certification-ready builds

Structured QA passes, platform certification preparation, localization into the launch languages and console porting support — the work that decides whether a submission passes first time.

  • Functional, compatibility and regression QA against a written test plan
  • Platform certification pre-checks and technical requirement checklists
  • Localization: string extraction, translation management, in-context linguistic QA
What is included

The slate

Titles we publish, distribute and support

Different genres, different agreements. Each entry states which partnership model sits behind it, and every rating is shown as pending until the rating body has issued one.

Placeholder content

The titles below are structural placeholders. Replace them with Bocary Studios’ real slate in frontend/src/data/games.js and set CATALOG_CONFIRMED = true before running advertising to this page — a portfolio that cannot be verified is a misleading-content risk on every ad platform.

Partnership models

Four ways to work with us — pick the smallest one that solves your problem

A full publishing deal is not automatically the right deal. If you only need storefront reach, take distribution and keep everything else.

Full publishing

Funding, marketing, QA, distribution and live operations. The widest scope and the longest commitment.

Fits
Teams that want to build the game and nothing else.
We take
Publishing rights for a defined term and territory, revenue share after recoupment.
You keep
The intellectual property, the source code, and the right to reversion at the end of the term.

Distribution only

The game is finished and funded. We handle storefronts, ratings, release logistics and patching.

Fits
Self-funded studios that want reach without giving up marketing control.
We take
A distribution share on the storefronts we operate for you.
You keep
Everything else, including your existing store pages if you already have them.

Co-development

We put production people on the project alongside our capital — usually to finish a strong prototype.

Fits
Small teams with a proven vertical slice and gaps in a discipline.
We take
A co-production stake defined per project, plus publishing rights.
You keep
Creative direction. The credit line names both studios.

Marketing only

Campaign strategy and execution for a title you are publishing yourself.

Fits
Studios with a publisher-free release plan and no marketing capacity.
We take
A fixed fee, or a fee plus performance component agreed in advance.
You keep
All revenue from the title. We never take a cut of sales on this model.

From pitch to launch

The route your game takes through Bocary Studios

Six stages, each with the time it takes and what comes out of it. Nothing here is a black box — you always know which stage your submission is in.

  1. 01Same day

    Pitch received

Your submission arrives through the pitch portal with a reference number. Nothing is forwarded outside Bocary Studios, and we do not ask for exclusivity to read a deck.

  2. 02Within 10 working days

    First read

A producer plays the build or watches the footage and writes an answer: a yes, a no with the reason, or a specific question. Every submission is answered.

  3. 032–4 weeks

    Deep evaluation

For titles we want to take further: market comparables, scope and budget review, a technical read of the build, and a call with the team behind it.

  4. 04Within 4 weeks of green light

    Term sheet

A written term sheet — funding, milestones, recoupment, territories, term length, reversion. You take it to your own lawyer before anyone signs anything.

  5. 05Project length

    Production & milestones

Financing is released against milestones with acceptance criteria you agreed to. Marketing and QA plans start running in parallel, not at the end.

  6. 06Launch onward

    Launch & live operations

Submission, certification, store pages, campaign execution, then patches, sales events and reporting with the storefront figures attached.

For developers

What we promise before you send us anything

These are contract terms, not marketing lines. If a publisher will not put them in writing, that tells you something.

Your IP stays yours

We license the right to publish. The intellectual property, the source code and the trademarks remain with the developer, and reversion terms are written into the agreement.

Free to pitch, always

No reading fee, no submission fee, no fee to be considered. Anyone charging a developer for an evaluation is not publishing games.

An answer, not silence

A written reply within ten working days: a yes, a no with the reason, or a specific question. Silent rejection is not a process.

Terms before commitment

A written term sheet — funding, milestones, recoupment, territories, term length — before anyone commits. Take it to your own lawyer.

Pitch portal

Send us the game you are actually making

Ten playable minutes beats forty slides. The portal checks your submission for completeness before you send it, so a producer can evaluate the game instead of asking you for the basics.
